Anematic Storyboard

our anematic storyboard was the closest idea which we had to our final production of the music video. We wanted to get  a clear idea of how our shots would piece together and if they worked in the way we had envisioned them.

Website

Instead of creating a poster as one of the three media products, my group had decided to create a website. This worked well with our theme as we were able to show off the band a lot more and create more of a connection between the band and their target audience. In addition we were able to really emphasise the indie genre of the band through the website, for example through the colours which we used, the light colour wash of the background, the font, the italic curled font which was also used throughout the digipack and also the images which we photoshopped to match the colour wash of the background and the colour was within the music video.

Digipack Separate Panels

Digipack Final Updated Version

The digipack was the last product which my group had made and throughout our research we looked at various other digipacks of indie bands and had made decisions as to what we wanted on our final digipack. Many indie digipacks were odd and strange in their own unique way, many of the times not including the artist or artists on the front of the digipack. We had decided to go along with this idea for our final product. The front cover was not an image of the band members, however an image of a cat which we had made unique and individual by photoshopping it and adding the glasses which then matched the back cover of the digipack. This also allowed us to gain more consistency throughout the product so everything which we had decided to do linked and made sense to the image which we were creating of the band. In addition many of the digipacks we researched did have some images of the band within them to allow them to show their identity and appeal to their target audience. We had done this and included very 'fun' images of the band to portray them as the fun, young and fresh indie band which they are. We also used the image of the record player, we had done this to link the digipack back to the music video as the first image which the audience see in the music video is the record player, which links the band back to the retro indie theme that we are portraying them through.
